Still there is some drama left in Lanka premier League as tomorrow could be the day when Sri Lankan Cricket Authorities will meet health ministry to decide the fate of LPL 2020.
As per the sources LPL 2020 might get delayed again if Sri Lankan health authorities don’t cut down the pre-requisite quarantine period of 14days for payer and coaching staff travelling into the Sri Lanka to participate in inaugural edition of LPL 2020.
There is an option that event might get rescheduled from the same date and can be staged in just one city to avoid travelling. Initially LPL 2020 schedule announced with two hosting cities Hambantota and Palelke.
Other option is to move Lanka Premier League to either Malaysia or UAE. IPL 2020 edition is also taking place in UAE currently due to COVID-19 in India.
Lanka Premier League event is already delayed many times due to outburst of COVID-19 and its taking place is still in jeopardy till tomorrow morning.
