Sony to Broadcast Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2020

Sony Sports bagged the rights to broadcast Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2020 tournament. Sources confirmed that Sony Ten which is an India based sports network owned by Sony Pictures Sports Networks will be official broadcaster of LPL Sri Lanka 2020 edition.

Interesting to note that Sony has already won the rights to broadcast to Sri Lanka cricket for next 3 years.

Sony is an experienced sports broadcaster as its started its operations in April 2002 and covered many cricketing events globally with efficiently and innovation which has enhanced the user experience and increased its fan base.

India’s batting great Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador for various Sony Sports channels.

Over all broadcasting rights of LPL Sri Lanka 2020 have been acquired by IPG in USD 2 million annually for 1st five editions of Lanka Premier League T20.

LPL Sri Lanka Schedule date is announced which will be 27th November but detailed schedule is not yet announced by Sri Lanka Cricket.
